SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Kind Kitchen offers a shipping option that may or may not have an associated cost, depending on the characteristics of the order, such as weight, value, and the destination region.

Shipping costs are presented during the order registration process in the store, in the second step of the shopping cart, taking into account the following characteristics:

  • Destination region;
  • Weight and/or value of the order;
  • Chosen shipping method;
  • Selection of value-added services (VAS).

You can simulate the shipping cost during the checkout of your purchase without completing it.

Free Shipping – Campaign

If a free shipping campaign is active, no shipping costs will be charged during checkout, and information about the campaign will be displayed at the checkout.

In-Store Pickup

If available, choosing the “In-Store Pickup” shipping method will incur no shipping charges.

Preparation and Shipping Time

The shipment of an order will be made considering the shipping method chosen by the consumer during the order registration and only after payment validation.

The preparation of an order, after receiving payment, may take between 2-4 business days.

The estimated delivery time may vary depending on the chosen shipping service or according to the timeframe specified in the shipping method description.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

Framework

The present Return Policy has been developed based on current legislation and may be updated without prior notice.

Free Resolution Period and Return

The customer has the right to terminate the contract without incurring any costs (in addition to the cost of returning the product(s)) and without the need to indicate the reason, within 14 (fourteen) days, from the day the customer or a third party indicated by the customer (excluding the carrier) physically acquires possession of the product(s).

Therefore, in the case of exercising the right of free resolution, any purchase made in the store can be returned within the maximum period of 14 days after being received. After this period, it will not be possible to offer a refund or exchange of the item(s).

If the customer wishes to exercise the right of free contract resolution, they must fill out and submit any unequivocal statement of contract resolution. They can request the Free Resolution form by contacting the store within the aforementioned period or explicitly indicate, via email (info@kindkitchen.pt), their intention to resolve the contract.

The email contact should refer to the following details:

  • Name under which the purchase was registered;
  • Contact phone/mobile;
  • Order number;
  • Order date;
  • Order reception date;
  • Number of products and/or services purchased.

Upon receipt of the contract resolution request, a response will be provided as soon as possible to expedite and schedule the collection of the purchased product(s).

Conditions for Return

For a purchase to be eligible for return, the purchased items must be in the same condition as they were delivered. It will also be necessary for them to be returned in the original packaging and without signs of misuse or mishandling.

Perishable products cannot be returned. Examples include the following: food items, flowers, newspapers, and magazines.

Products that have been personalized and for which there was prior approval by the customer via email will also not be accepted for return.

The return must always be made to the merchant and never to the supplier of the products and/or services.

Refund

The refund of the product(s) value, as well as delivery costs, will be total within 14 days from the date we are informed of the free resolution decision.

Kind Kitchen is not obliged to refund additional return costs, such as a collection method for the product(s) that is different and more expensive than the one presented by us. In the case of product(s) collection being requested by Kind Kitchen, the refund process will be initiated upon proper receipt of the product(s). The customer will be notified by email regarding this process.

The refund will be made through the same payment method used by the customer in the initial payment, except in cases of express agreement and where the customer incurs no costs as a result of the refund.

If you do not receive the refund within the indicated period, please check your bank account again. If you still do not confirm the deposit of the amount, also contact your bank manager. If, after these steps, you still have no feedback, you can contact us at +351 221 130 928.

Exchanges

An exchange of items is only accepted when the order is defective, incomplete, incorrect, or damaged due to the act of delivery. If you want to exchange an item, please contact us by email at info@kindkitchen.pt.

Gift

If the item was a gift, it will only be accepted for exchange with the presentation of the respective gift receipt.

Shipping Costs

The initially paid shipping costs will be included in the reimbursed amount, as provided for in the legislation in force in Decree-Law no. 24/2014.

If the customer wishes a different collection method than that defined by Kind Kitchen, the customer will be responsible for paying the additional shipping costs related to the return of the product to the store, whether for return or exchange purposes. We cannot guarantee that the items are returned or arrive in conditions identical to those at the time they are sent.

International Returns

In the case of an order delivered abroad, the return process is based on the above-mentioned conditions.
